On the Axle Loads Page there is a bar graph. At the bottom of this graph several traffic characteristics are printed, among them:

 

•average tonnage per a heavy-vehicle axle, and

•average E80 per a heavy-vehicle axle.

 

Once the user selects the pavement and traffic type, the above indicators are calculated and displayed at the bottom of the graph automatically.

 

The user should inspect and evaluate these figures. If they disagree with his or her experience, or contradict available weigh-in-motion information, the type of axle-load distribution should be revised.
