First rehabilitation occurs after a certain period of time called t1. The value of t1 in an input constant. The user should enter this value, in years, in the box placed at the top of the Control Page.

 

Rehabilitation is a major maintenance action. The values of t1 vary from about 7 years for low capital-cost pavements, to about 25 years for expensive pavements with a long maintenance-free initial period.

 

Note: The value of t1 may not exceed the planned life period of the road, which is also an input constant.
